Departure from Lisbon.
Arrival in Fátima. Time to visit the Sanctuary, an important pilgrimage site that commemorates the apparitions of Our Lady to the three shepherd children. The chapel was built in 1919 at the site of the 1917 apparitions in Cova da Iria, and since then, the Sanctuary has continued to expand in response to the growing number of pilgrims.
Departure from Fátima.
Arrival in Porto. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll board a rabelo, a traditional Portuguese boat on the Douro River, for a 50-minute cruise. From the river, we’ll admire Porto’s beautiful waterfront and pass under six bridges, including the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, one of the city’s most famous landmarks. Free time to explore the lively medieval Ribeira district, known for its narrow cobblestone streets lined with historic merchant houses and charming cafés.
