Waves at Kuta were rough for our younger one so we stuck to shallow water.
Resort pool got overcrowded with other families by afternoon, hard to find loungers.
Grandparents travelled with us this time and the pace across five nights suited everyone, from toddlers to seniors. Kuta beach mornings were easy and slow, Seminyak afternoons gave the adults a bit of quiet time too. Tanah Lot at sunset had the whole family, three generations, staring silently at the same sky. Rare to find a trip that works for every age like this.
The Taman Ayun temple stop was a nice short bit of culture and our eldest asked a lot of questions, though the youngest was done after twenty minutes and wanted the beach back. Fair enough for a four year old.
Family of five and Bali handled our mixed ages better than expected. Something for everyone across the five nights, nobody complained of boredom once.
Children found the temple visit at Taman Ayun educational, though our youngest got restless after twenty minutes. Good short stop overall, not too long.
