Mykonos town's alleys are gorgeous to wander though we found the beachfront restaurants quite steep for a family of four. We started eating one meal a day slightly inland to manage the budget better. The alleys themselves at sunset more than made up for it though, genuinely magical with the kids running ahead of us. Athens beforehand gave the trip a nice historical grounding too.
The alleys of Mykonos Town are gorgeous, but we found the beachfront restaurants pricey for a family of four and started eating one meal a day further inland to manage it. The sunsets more than justified the budgeting.
Ornos Beach gave us the relaxed afternoon we needed after two busy days of Athens sightseeing. Kids built sandcastles for hours while we just relaxed.
