Never thought a four night European trip could feel this complete but this one did. From the moment we stepped inside the Colosseum, my kids were hooked on ancient history in a way no textbook managed. The Sistine Chapel was crowded but the ceiling silenced even my chatty ten year old. Venice at the end was the perfect wind down, gliding through the canals as a family with nowhere to rush to.
