Auckland felt a bit rushed on day one since we landed late and had an early start planned the next morning. Rotorua more than made up for it once we arrived though. The geyser eruption at Te Puia had perfect timing when we visited, steam and sulphur smell and all. The cultural show that evening rounded things off nicely with dinner included. Would just build in a slower first day next time.
