Tegalalang's rice terraces at sunrise, before the tour buses arrive, were emerald and completely peaceful. Tegenungan Waterfall gave the kids their adventure fix with the spray and the climb down, and evenings by the infinity pool at Kamandalu Ubud were the perfect way to unwind as a family.
Travelling with two kids and grandparents in tow, Ubud gave everyone something to love across six unhurried nights. The pace was gentle enough for the older generation and adventurous enough for the little ones.
Tirta Empul in the morning and Tegenungan Waterfall in the afternoon made for a wonderfully full but not exhausting day. Kids were tired but happy every single night.
