Santorini sunset viewpoints get intense, we had to squeeze in just to see anything.
Ferry transfer between islands ran late both times, once by almost two hours. With two young kids already tired from the heat that made for a rough, cranky evening before we even reached the hotel. The islands themselves are gorgeous and completely worth it, but the inter-island logistics need tighter buffers built in. Just mentally prepare for delays and pack snacks for the wait.
