Compact and well organised for a couple, though the ferry schedule to Waiheke needs careful planning if you don't want to rush the vineyard visit. Everything else about the trip felt relaxed and well thought out.

Vineyard afternoon on Waiheke was lovely but felt a little rushed given the ferry timings, we barely got through two vineyards before needing to head back. Glowworm cave was the redeeming part of the trip for us.
