Guide tried steering us to a pearl shop twice in Manila, otherwise the sightseeing itself was well planned. Kids didn't mind since there were snacks involved.
Beach days in Cebu followed by the history of Manila made a nicely balanced five nights for our family of four. Kids loved the sandbar at Sumilon so much we almost skipped the second half of the trip. Manila's old town more than made up for it though, especially Intramuros in the evening light. Solid itinerary for families wanting a bit of everything.
