Chose Stockholm with my partner for a short summer break and came away wanting to go back already. The Royal Palace tour gave us more Swedish history than we expected to absorb in just three nights, and the waterway cruise afterward was a nice, relaxed way to see the city from a different angle. We stumbled onto a small cafe near Gamla Stan on our last morning that neither of us had planned for, and that unplanned hour turned into one of our favourite memories of the whole trip. Three nights felt tight but complete.
