Pattaya gets a mixed reputation but this itinerary kept us away from the seedier parts and focused on the beaches and markets instead. Coral Island was postcard perfect and worth the early start. Evening strolls on Pattaya Beach became a nice daily ritual. Only downside was the floating market getting extremely crowded by late morning.
Just three nights but it felt like a proper romantic escape with my partner, Coral Island and the sunset walks were everything we hoped for.
That turquoise water at Coral Island is unreal, brought us right back to honeymoon mode.
The beaches and Cape Dara access were lovely, but food near the main Pattaya strip was eye wateringly overpriced for what turned up on the plate. We ended up eating away from the beachfront most nights, which honestly turned out better.
Cape Dara's beach setup alone made this trip feel like a proper romantic escape, not just another Thailand holiday.
Nice mix of beach time and local culture packed into a short trip. Floating Market food stalls were surprisingly good.
