A short three-night stay in Prague gave us just enough time to see the major sights without feeling rushed. St Vitus Cathedral is enormous and genuinely awe inspiring inside. The hourly Astronomical Clock crowd gathering was fun to be part of once. Food around the main square is a bit overpriced but a short walk away things get much more reasonable.
A magical city, though the restaurants right on the main square are noticeably overpriced for what actually turns up on the plate.
Prague Castle was so packed with tour groups by mid morning that it felt more like a queue than a visit. Charles Bridge and the Old Town square in the evenings were much more enjoyable and less chaotic.
