Santorini Volcano hike was hotter and dustier than we expected but the 360 degree views at the top made it worthwhile. White Beach was much calmer than the crowds we hit at Red Beach earlier that day. Would recommend visiting the volcano early morning to beat the heat.

Delayed honeymoon plans finally happened here and Santorini did not disappoint even with three nights being on the shorter side. Caldera sunset views from Fira are genuinely as good as everyone says, worth the crowd if you get there early enough for a spot. Red Beach's cliffs were a nice surprise, we had not expected that much colour in the rock. Only gripe is that three nights barely scratched the surface of what the island offers.
Everything about Santorini felt built for exactly this kind of trip, two people, three nights, nothing to rush. Fira's narrow streets at night, wandering between little shops and cafes hand in hand, was our favourite part of each day. Red Beach and White Beach gave us two completely different flavours of coastline within the same afternoon. The caldera sunset on our final evening was the perfect way to close things out.
Fira sunset from our caldera view spot was every bit as spectacular as the photos promise, maybe more so in person. Red Beach's volcanic cliffs are a strange and beautiful sight up close, nothing like the usual beach scenery. Three nights felt like the perfect length for this island without overstaying.
White Beach was the quiet escape we needed after the chaos of the main Fira strip.
